B.Sc.  (Botany -Honours)

The College is an autonomous college of Ranchi University. It offers B.A./B.Sc./B.Com courses under the autonomous system. 
COURSE OF STUDY (B.Sc) Botany (H)
The three year programme leads to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Honours Course). This course comprises of six semesters. For admission into Honours degree in any subject it shall be necessary for a student to have obtained not less than 50% marks in the subject concerned and also in aggregate in the Intermediate + 2 examination.

This course is a full time course. The duration is for three years programme leads to the award of the degree of Bachelor in  Botany.(B.Sc. Botany Honours).

B.Sc. HONOURS (Three Year Degree Course):
 
An Applicant for the B.Sc. (Honours) course shall choose one Honours subject and two subsidiary subjects. However : Limited seats are available in each subsidiary subject. Hence one may not get the desired subsidiary subject as the selection will be done on merit basis.
 
Honours Paper : Botany
Two Subsidiary Paper from following:
 
1. Chemistry (Theory 75 Marks, Practical 25 Marks)
2. Geology (Theory 75 Marks, Practical 25 Marks)
3. Physics (Theory 75 Marks, Practical 25 Marks)
4. Zoology (Theory 75 Marks, Practical 25 Marks)
5. Computer
One Language Paper from following:
1. RB-HINDI
2. ALT ENGLISH + NON-HINDI
