PRIZES, CERTIFICATE & BURSES
On the ANNUAL College Day prizes are awarded to the students who secures first, second and third position in the College Tests. In the degree courses prizes are given to students who obtain the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd rank in their subject in all the college tests held up to that date. A Certificate is given to all the students who secures the 1st position in JAC or Ranchi Univ. examination/ semester exams respectively. The college also issue a College Merit Certificate to every student who has completed a course.

SPECIAL PRIZES & MEDALS
1. PROF. RAGHUVIR SAHAY SAXENA PRIZE FUND : One silver medal to given to each year to a student who secures highest percentage of aggregate in college tests in B.COM I,II and III combined (hons. and gen.)
2. PROF. RAGHUVIR SAHAY SAXENA PRIZE BURSE : A prize of Rs. 50/- in books for the ST student who secures the highest marks in the I.Com exam of JAC (Donated by Sri Rabindra Nath Bhagat).
3. PROF. H.P. GUHA MEMORIAL BURSE : One prize of Rs 100/- in cash for the student who stands 1st among St. Xavier's College students at I. Com. examination of JAC.
4. DR. JADUGOPAL MUKHARJEE MEMORIAL BURSE : Two prizes of Rs. 100/- in books each for the two best SC/ST students of I.Sc. first year in the college tests.
5. THE SAMIRENDRA NATH CHATERJEE PERPETUAL MEMORIAL BURSE : Rs 250/- yearly to be used for benefit of a deserving student selected by the principal in consultation with the English department.
6. DR. ANIRUDHA CHOUDHARY MEMORIAL PRIZE : For the best student of History hons. according to the college test.
7. ANANDA SARKAR CHAKRAWARTI TRUST FUND : One medal each for Table Tennis and Cricket.
8. SHRI A. K. MUKHARJEE AWARD : For the two meritorious student ,one in I.Sc. and another in B.Sc. in the annual examination held every year . The award is in the shape of useful books of Rs. 200/- each.
9. PROF. IMAM MEMORIAL AWARD : One silver medal for to B.A. student who secures the highest aggregate in the college test in Geography Hons. (Part I, II &III combined).
10. JAGGI PHYSICS SCHOLARSHIP : Rs. 2000/- each to the top two students in the Physics Hons.
