About Animation:
From the Traditional Art of Animation to High-end 3D Graphics, the industry of Animation has grown tremendously over the years. Today, the technical Skill of Animation is used in various professions, ranging from films, games, advertising, application development, and product support and web development. This Creative expertise is also increasingly being applied to sectors such as automobile, medicine and architecture, thus generating more employment and creating job opportunities for traditional animators as well as Digital Artists.
Course Objective:
St. Xaviers College Ranchi offers professional training (beside the bachelor degree in Computer Gaming and Animation-"BGA") in animation to students who aspire to mark their presence in this highly competitive industry. The Xavier courses are designed in such a way that an aspiring student can learn it along with his/her regular study. The students are taught the script-to-screen process. They learn to build their craft and technical skills through the programme. A Xavier pass out is a highly skilled and trained professional who is capable of working effectively in the animation industry with innovative ideas.
