Introduction

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the College works as the think - tank of the college. It chalks out the yearly plans and programmes as guidelines to channelize the campus activity. These suggestions are put to the College Council (consisting of heads of all departments, staff secretary and union advisor) on getting them approved; these plans are discussed and worked out in the general staff-meeting. The IQAC aims at benchmarking quality and taking measures to enhance and sustain quality, involving all stake holders.

Function of IQAC

Development & application of quality benchmarks / parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the college.

Arrangement for feedback responses from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality related processes.

Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars and quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.

Documentation of the various programmes and activities of the college, leading to quality enhancement.

Acting as a nodal agency for co-coordinating quality related activities, including adaption and dissemination of good practices.
